Northeastern Regional Summit

The Pennsylvania Statewide Afterschool/ Youth Development Network (PSAYDN) invites you to join us on May 28, 2009 at the Boys and Girls Club of Northeastern PA for a unique opportunity to come together and strategize how we can continue to increase awareness on the importance of afterschool programs.
This Summit will address the state of youth in northeastern Pennsylvania, discuss the needs of the community and present promising strategies to support the community in developing an effective plan to help children and youth reach their education goals and prepare for the workforce.
Summit participants will receive information and resources regarding the benefi ts of afterschool and youth development programs, effective use of school and community resources to remove barriers to learning, and an Advocacy Toolkit.

Registration, Check-in and Meals:
Event check-in time will begin at 8:00AM. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. There is no registration fee to attend, but pre-registration is required.
