The PSAYDN Annual Partners’ Retreat will focus on policy development, coordination of quality initiatives, and sustainability, and provide professional development opportunities for OST professionals, school administrators, teachers, faculty, nonprofit/community leaders, business/industry professionals, policymakers and other community partners.
For the first time, the PSAYDN Retreat and PENN SACCA Conference will run consecutively to provide additional opportunities for OST advocates and professionals to receive professional development and participate in networking activities.

The EPISCenter Training Institute at Penn State University will be offering a three hour Social Development Strategy training at the PSAYDN Retreat on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. The training will focus on five key components: opportunities, skills, recognition, bonding and clear standards for behavior. The Center for Schools and Communities, as a division of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, offers Act 48 professional development credit for those with Pennsylvania teaching or administrative certificates. Participants MUST attend sessions from beginning to end and list their professional personnel ID (PPID) number on the appropriate Act 48 paperwork supplied by the Center for Schools and Communities to receive credit. If you are interested in receiving Act 48 credit, check the appropriate box on the registration form. Retrieve your PPID number from the PERMS and bring it with you to the conference.
The Center for Schools and Communities, as a division of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, offers Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System (PQAS) credits for qualified participants. Participants MUST attend sessions from beginning to end and list their registry ID (RID) number on the appropriate paperwork supplied to you by conference staff to receive credit. If you are interested in receiving PQAS credit, check the appropriate box on the registration form. Retrieve your RID number at PA PD Registry and bring your number with you to the conference.
The Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) will be awarding CE’s for completion of approved workshops. A certificate fee of $15 for NASW members and $30 for non-members will be charged and can be paid directly to NASW-PA. NASW CE packets will be available at the conference registration desk.
