The Power of Collaboration: Strengthening Impact Through Partnerships

collaboration between adults

For the past 25 years, Building Educated Leaders for Life (BELL) has successfully provided evidenced-based summer and afterschool programs to scholars across the country. BELL’s expertise and success has enabled them to coach others to deliver the same high-quality summer and afterschool programs. Every community has talent and cultural capital to serve children and families and, by sharing knowledge with partners, you can reach more scholars, families and communities. Eddie Wilson illustrated the power offered by collaboration, and how BELL works with school districts and community partners around the country to help close the achievement gap through summer learning and afterschool programming. He also provided an overview of BELL’s current partnerships, the roles each partner plays, and how collaboration has accelerated scale and impact.

Yet, we know that as non-profits we must be careful about what we say and what activities are appropriate. This webinar will teach you how to learn to differentiate between advocating and lobbying. Join Nikhil Pillai from Alliance for Justice as he reviews the criteria involved in making the case for an issue without running into legal trouble.
