Join Pennsylvania youth as they have the opportunity to meet virtually with Lt. Governor John Fetterman, the 34th and current Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania since January 2019, and Second Lady Gisele Barreto Fetterman, who is involved in numerous charitable organizations that focus on the needs of youth in Western Pennsylvania and across the state. This youth-led, youth-hosted meeting enables participants to ask about their concerns pertaining to afterschool/out-of-school time programs.

Advocates had planned robust in-person campaigns to guide families to participate, but such gatherings are not possible, for now. Advocates are quickly turning to online resources to encourage all families to take part in the 2020 U.S. Census.
On March 27 the House passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), also known as the Third COVID-19 Supplemental Relief bill, and the president signed the legislation into law. The bill has several provisions that are essential for afterschool providers.
