Strengthening Afterschool and Summer Learning Through Quality Programming

In partnership with the Pennsylvania Statewide Afterschool Youth Development Network and Center for Schools and Communities 21st Century Community Learning Centers Technical Assistance Team, this full day workshop will provide OST professionals with practical strategies, resources and tools grounded in PSAYDN’s Quality Afterschool Standards and Core Functions.
Designed for out-of-school time providers, school-age child care professionals, 21st CCLC grantees, Pennsylvania BOOST grantees, educators, and youth-serving organizations, the workshop will explore what high quality programming looks like in practice and how programs can strengthen youth engagement, supportive learning environments, partnerships, and positive youth development outcomes.
This workshop is ideal for both emerging and experienced OST professionals seeking to strengthen program quality and impact across the Commonwealth.
Act 48 and PQAS continuing education credits will be available for participants.
